« Light Seeks to Penetrate (by Sam U. Elle) »
Monday, March 8, 2010 Feature by a fellow-poet whose piece (below) I have found particularly newsworthy (in a pattern-interruption, now-narrowing way):
Light Seeks to Penetrate
Bending and folding to fit the circumference of the room -
sliding under tables, slipping into tight crevices as if it were
a vacuum seeking food crumbs fallen from a litter of fat fists
unable to keep clench the morsels meant for their little mouths;
sunlight fighting to penetrate the opaqueness of the room.
