Cognition (and, thus, knowledge) is limited by the sensorium. While we can technologically extend the quantitative range of our senses we cannot transcend the qualitative basis of our sense-powered cognition. All of our senses are wave-based. We channel physical waveforms into neurological patterns down several sensory paths (e.g. vision, hearing, etc.). But, seems to me, reality may also manifest in ways that are qualitatively different from wave-based phenomena. If so, some aspects of reality may be fundamentally outside of our perception range. Sensorium is the epistemological dead end.
