« A Formulation of Incompleteness »
Saturday, March 19, 2011 A form-ula is an attempt at quantification of a quality, i.e. an outside measurement of inner essence. But form isn't essence. As such, no form-ula can provide a complete* picture of its referent aspect of reality, in its local Phenomenological and Noumenological Unity**.
*Complete picture would have to include a description of the entire dynamic of the outer and the inner of a given noumenon.
** Phenomenological and Noumenological Unity (PNU) cannot be "given" as data***.
*** Data - from Latin "datum", that which is given to senses****.
**** Senses - organs that perceive form (i.e. the outside manifestation of a given Noumenon).
ps:
This formulation is, of course, predicated on a corpuscular (particle + void, i.e. atomistic) view of reality (to which I do not currently subscribe). Any form-ulation is but a finger pointing at the moon of PNU.
