« The Nonsense by Which We Live and Die »

Death is change of form (death does not destroy the matter of the body, death simply redistributes it).  But so is life (life too is change of form - each breath, each meal changes the form of what you are).  Thus, living is dying and dying is living.  That's obvious.  What's less obvious is this: neither death is death nor life is life since how can life be life if it is also death and how can death be death if it is also life?

In sum: death = life or, if you prefer, life = death (since both are just a change of form, a non-stop ceasing-and-arising of That which remains the same (that which is beyond life or death)).

What’s the point of this word-game?  To explore the nonsense by which we live and die.
