Sunday, July 24, 2011 The word "energy" exists but what it refers to doesn't. There is no dis-embodied energy just flowing and floating out there. I realize it's fun to believe in these kinds of disembodied abstractions but it's also fun to look past them.
So, then what is energy? Energy is informational metamorphosis. More precisely, energy is a release of Form. Energy is a byproduct of pattern-destruction, a byproduct of form-metabolism, a catabolism of order. In sum, energy is a release of [stored/encoded] information; a release of Form into the "void" of formlessness, a de-individuation, a grieving outburst of homogenization.
Life is Siva - a self-re-creating destroyer, a metabolizer of Form. Higher-Order Life (HOL) harvests and metabolizes the order created by Lower-Order Life (LOL). Funny how it works.
